Set up camera, microphone, and sound

The first time you make or answer a call in Yandex Telemost, the app asks for permission to access your microphone and camera (for video calls). You can grant access right away or do it manually later. You can't make calls in Yandex Telemost without granting these permissions.

Configure camera and microphone settings

You can choose to join group calls with your camera and microphone on or off by default. You can manage these in Profile → Call settings.

Select an audio source

Yandex Telemost selects the audio source automatically. During a meeting, you can change the audio source manually (for example, turn on the speaker or connect wireless headphones):

1. Pull up the control panel.
2. Click Audio source.
3. Select Phone, Speaker, or Bluetooth device, or mute the sound.
