Statuses
Statuses help your friends and colleagues understand if it's convenient for you to talk now and how soon you might reply.
Statuses in Yandex Messenger

Online
: You're ready to receive messages and calls.This is the default status. Unless you've set another status, all chat members will see that you're online.

Be right back
: You can't read messages or answer calls, because you're off Messenger right now.For example, if you're using Yandex Messenger for web at work and are about to leave for a meeting, set your status to Be right back. This way, your colleagues will know that you might not be able to respond immediately.

Busy
: You're busy, and it's best to contact you only if it's important.You'll see all incoming texts and calls and will be able to reply if necessary.

Do not disturb
: You're not planning to communicate at all.When the Do not disturb status is active, all notifications for messages and calls are turned off. Don't forget to change your status when you're back online, so that you don't miss any notifications.
Changing your status
Click your status above the chat list. Select the desired status.
For all statuses other than Online, you can specify a duration. For example, if you're going to a meeting that will last half an hour, select Be right back → For 30 minutes. After that, the status will automatically change to Online.

Only you can see the duration of the status.
You can reset any status to the default Online option by clicking
on the right.

- Click your status above the chat list.
- Select the desired status.
- Select the duration of the status or the Until I change it option. For example, if you're going to a meeting that will last half an hour, select Be right back → For 30 minutes. You'll need to do it when setting any status other than the default Online option.
Only you can see the duration of the status. After that, the status will automatically change to Online.
Click your status above the chat list. Select the desired status.
How other users see my status
Each status has its own color. Look at the colored dot in the lower bottom-right corner of the user's icon.
