Actions

Open a chat and enter your message however you like:

• Using a keyboard. Type a message.

• Using voice. Press and say your message.

• As a file. Press and choose the file.

  Note

  All files and images that you send using the  icon are saved to your Yandex Disk in Files → Messenger files. The total amount of attachments is only limited by the free space on your disk. You can send any number of files up to 50 GB each via Yandex Messenger.

The icon next to a message in Yandex Messenger means it has been delivered. The icon means the addressee has read it.

You can only delete your own messages.

1. Tap the message.
2. In the menu that opens, choose Delete to delete the message for all chat members.

1. Open a chat.
2. In the upper-right corner, tap  → Search chat.

1. Tap the message.
2. In the menu that opens, choose Reply, Copy, or Edit.

1. Tap the message.
2. In the menu that opens, select Forward.
3. Select the chat to forward the message to.

1. Tap the message.
2. Forward it to Saved messages. You can use this chat to make notes or to transfer files between your smartphone and computer.

1. Tap the message.
2. In the menu that opens, select Pin.

By default, only administrators can pin messages in a group chat. This action is available to chat members only if allowed by administrators.

1. Tap the message.
2. In the menu that opens, select Share.
3. Select the contact or app to forward the message to.

1. Tap the message.
2. In the menu that opens, select Mark as important.

To view messages marked as important:

1. Open a chat.
2. In the upper-right corner, tap  → Chat info → Important messages.

To send an important message, tap and type the text.

Enter @ and select the user from the list. The selected user will get a notification.

You'll see the icon with the number of mentions next to the chat you've been mentioned in.

When you open the chat you've been mentioned in, you can see the icon in the bottom-right corner. Tap the mention to read the first message where you were mentioned.
