Manage subscriptions

With Yandex Mail, you can sort out your subscriptions to keep only the most interesting ones.

If you want to configure dedicated folders for your subscriptions, enable sorting by categories.

You can only manage your subscriptions in the full version of Yandex Mail, on the mobile website, and in the official mobile app. You can't set up your subscriptions in third-party email clients or in the light version of Yandex Mail. You also can't manage subscriptions gathered from your other mailbox.

View all

In the upper-right corner, click  and select Manage subscriptions.

You will see of all your mailing lists in the Active tab. You can tap a specific address to view recent messages from it.

  1. Pull the screen to the right.
  2. Choose the account where you want to organize your subscriptions.
  3. Scroll down and select Manage subscriptions.

Otherwise, just tap the notification about unsorted subscriptions above the email list at the top of the screen.

You'll see all of your subscriptions in the Active tab. You can tap a specific address to view recent messages from it.

  2. Under the folder list, select Manage mailing lists.

Sort new subscriptions

If you have unsorted subscriptions, a notification about it is displayed above the email list, including the number of such subscriptions. To go to them, click Sort. Otherwise, click in the top right corner and select "Manage subscriptions".

  1. Select subscriptions in the New tab.

  2. Specify what to do with the subscriptions. To do this, press:

    • Receive to add them to the Active tab and move the emails to your Inbox.
    • Disable to add them to the Disabled tab and move the emails to the Trash folder.

Hide subscriptions

  1. On the Active tab, select the subscriptions you want to hide. New email from these addresses will be automatically sent to the Trash folder.
  2. Click Unsubscribe.
  3. Choose whether the existing emails from the selected addresses should be deleted, that is, moved from Inbox to Trash.

Make emails go to Inbox again

  1. Open the Disabled tab.
  2. Select the subscriptions you want to activate. New email from these senders will arrive in your Inbox folder.
  3. Click Receive emails from these senders.

Enable confirmation of new subscriptions

To avoid getting marketing emails in your Inbox without permission, enable their confirmation. Yandex Mail will inform you when you receive new subscription emails, and you'll just have to decide if you want to receive them or unsubscribe.

Enable confirmation of mailing lists

  1. In the upper-right corner, click .
  2. Choose manage subscriptions.
  3. Open the New tab.
  4. Select Enable auto-save.

Disable confirmation of mailing lists

  1. In the upper-right corner, click .

  2. Open the New tab.

  3. Click Disable confirmation of new mailing lists at the bottom of the tab.

  4. Choose whether you want to accept the emails from your unsorted subscriptions (to place them in your Inbox) or not (to delete them).

    Tip

    If you want to move some of the unsorted emails to the Inbox and delete the remaining ones, do so before disabling this feature.

What happens when my plan expires?

When your plan expires, the emails from unsorted subscriptions are moved to Inbox. The subsequent newsletters from these addresses will go to Inbox.

Confirmation is enabled but doesn't work

You can enable confirmation of mailing lists only in the main Yandex Mail interface. This feature doesn't work correctly in the light version, third-party email programs, or message importers.

Available only in Yandex 360 plans.

To avoid getting promotional emails in your mailbox without permission, enable their confirmation. Yandex Mail will inform you when you receive new subscription emails, and you'll just have to decide if you want to receive them or unsubscribe.
