Beta testing

We are constantly working on the Yandex Disk app to make it better: add new features, fix errors, and make the already existing features more convenient. You can help us: try new features before anyone else and tell us what you think. Any user can participate in beta testing.

What is beta testing?

The beta version has all the features of the public app and some new ones. We test the app ourselves to make sure everything is working before we send it out for beta testing. But there's still a chance you'll find an error or notice something that can be improved. We'll appreciate it if you report such errors.

You won't be able to install both the beta version and the public version. But you can opt out of beta testing at any time and return to the current public version of the app.

Participate in beta testing

  1. Install the TestFlight app (this is Apple's testing environment) from the App Store.

  2. Go to https://testflight.apple.com/join/FWAmiHnR on your iPhone or iPad.

    If a Yandex Disk beta version is available at this moment, you can install it. If not, you'll receive a push notification later when it appears.

  3. Use the app and test new features. Report the problems you've encountered and share your experience using the Send feedback on beta version button in TestFlight or via the Yandex Disk app (Settings → Help and support → Support).

Opt out of beta testing

  1. Delete the installed Yandex Disk Beta version and download the public version of the app from the App Store.
  2. Log in to the TestFlight app, select Yandex Disk, and tap Stop testing. You will exit the beta testing program and won't receive notifications about new beta versions.

If you've encountered a problem in the Yandex Disk app, please report it through the in-app feedback form:

  1. Tap the profile picture in the top left corner.
  2. Select Help and supportSupport.
  3. Specify the subject of your request.
  4. Describe the problem in as much detail as possible.

Note

To report mobile app issues, please do this from within the app, not from the Help section. This will help us get your request to the right support agents, and you'll get a quicker response. When you report a problem through the app, we can also see technical information that helps resolve the issue.

If the app crashes and you can't send us a message from it, please use the feedback form to report the error.
