Finding files in Yandex Disk

You can search for files by their name, content, extensions, or properties, as well as by the names of the folders containing them. To do this, start typing the name in the search bar.

The app will search through all your Yandex Disk folders. For more information about search features, see Search Yandex Disk.

Note

When you're offline, the app will only search in the folder you have open. Files in subfolders won't be found.

If you've encountered a problem in the Yandex Disk app, please report it through the in-app feedback form:

  1. Tap the profile picture in the top left corner.
  2. Select Help and support → Support.
  3. Specify the subject of your request.
  4. Describe the problem in as much detail as possible.

Note

To report mobile app issues, please do this from within the app, not from the Help section. This will help us get your request to the right support agents, and you'll get a quicker response. When you report a problem through the app, we can also see technical information that helps resolve the issue.

If the app crashes and you can't send us a message from it, please use the feedback form to report the error.
