Feed

The Feed shows you files, photos, and videos that you've recently uploaded to Yandex Disk, whether you uploaded them manually (see Upload files) or they were uploaded automatically (see Auto-upload photos and videos). Documents and media files are grouped into blocks.

You can open a file, a photo, or a video and share it directly from the Feed. To view the block contents, tap on its title.

You can hide any block from your Feed. This won't delete any documents or media files from Yandex Disk.

Memories

When you upload photos of various people, objects, and places to Yandex Disk, the Feed generates memories. These are themed collections or slideshows of your photos with smooth animation and mood-setting music. For example, the "All night until morning" collection includes shots of the sunrise, while the "Furry friends" slideshow features your photos with your pets.

View

To view a memory, tap on it. While viewing, you can:

  • Scroll through the photos forward or backward.
  • Pause the slideshow.
  • Disable music.
  • Go to all photos from the collection.

Share

You can share a memory:

  • As a link to an album with photos.

  • As a video file, so that the recipient experiences the slideshow with animation and music.

To share a memory:

Send a link to the album with the memory

  1. Open any memory.
  2. Tap in the bottom panel.
  3. Tap Share album at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Choose how you want to share it: by email, in a messaging app, via Bluetooth, or other method.
Send video

  1. Open any memory.
  2. Tap on the bottom panel.
  3. Chose Send video at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Wait until the video is saved. This may take up to 1 minute.
  5. Choose how you want to share it: by email, in a messaging app, via Bluetooth, or other method.

You can find the video in Photos and view or share it like any other file.

Note

If you have an active Yandex 360 plan, your saved videos won't take up space on Yandex Disk.

Hide subscriptions

To remove a memory from the Feed without deleting the photo from your Yandex Disk, tap  → Hide memory.

If you've encountered a problem in the Yandex Disk app, please report it through the in-app feedback form:

  1. Tap the profile picture in the top left corner.
  2. Select Help and supportSupport.
  3. Specify the subject of your request.
  4. Describe the problem in as much detail as possible.

Note

To report mobile app issues, please do this from within the app, not from the Help section. This will help us get your request to the right support agents, and you'll get a quicker response. When you report a problem through the app, we can also see technical information that helps resolve the issue.

If the app crashes and you can't send us a message from it, please use the feedback form to report the error.
