Note
Screenshots and images uploaded from third-party apps are at the end of the upload list, under Without date.
Most likely, this was because you've enabled upload to unlimited storage. Media files aren't stored in the Camera folder when upload to unlimited storage is enabled. You can view them under Photos on the Yandex Disk page. For more information about auto-uploads, see Auto-upload options.
To resume photo and video auto-uploads to the Camera folder, disable upload to unlimited storage. How to do this
Someone else's files may end up on your Yandex Disk if you log in on someone else's mobile device. In this case, if auto-uploads are enabled, files from this device will upload to your Yandex Disk.
You can stop uploading other people's files to your Yandex Disk in the following ways:
Log out on all devices
- To prevent other people's files from uploading to your Yandex Disk, log out of Yandex Disk on all devices. How to do this
Revoke program and app access
-
You can also revoke access of Yandex Disk programs and apps to your files on the server:

- Look through the list and find all the lines that feature
Yandex Disk
. - Click each line, and then click Delete.
Images are stored on Yandex Disk in their original quality. They are not compressed during upload. However, the Yandex Disk app generates lower-resolution previews to reduce data traffic and provide a smoother user experience. You'll see a preview if the file size doesn't exceed 50 MB. To view an image in its original quality, download it to your mobile device.
If the video quality is low in the app, it's probably because the video player is set to a low resolution. You can select a higher resolution. In the app, you can watch videos in the maximum quality 1080p. If the video resolution is higher, you can download it to your mobile device to watch it in the original quality.
When you run out of space on Yandex Disk, your access will be restricted. To remove the restrictions, you can:
- Delete some files (go to Yandex Disk to delete files).
- Empty the Trash, because files stored there also take up space (View files in Trash).
- Buy additional space (select a paid plan).
Otherwise, your access to Yandex Disk will be blocked after 44 days, and after 6 more months, all your files will be permanently deleted. For more information about these restrictions, see Yandex Disk space.
If you don't want auto-uploads to use up all your Yandex Disk space, enable upload to unlimited storage in the app settings. How to do this.
