# Log in and log out

## Log in {#login}

To get started, log in to the Yandex Disk mobile app:

1. Enter your Yandex username and password.
1. Tap the icon **Log in**.

{% note alert %}

If you use two-factor authentication, you'll need a one-time password generated by the Yandex Key app to authorize in the Yandex Disk app. [How to get a one-time password in Yandex Key](https://yandex.com/support/id/en/authorization/password-plus-otp#how-receive)

{% endnote %}

Yandex Disk is available only for users who have a Yandex account. Yandex Disk no longer supports login via social networks as of January 1, 2023. To learn more, see [Help for Yandex ID](https://yandex.com/support/id/en/social.html).

If you can't log in to the app, follow our [Yandex Passport recommendations](https://yandex.com/support/id/en/feedback.html).

## Add an account {#add-account}

You can have several accounts at the same time and switch between them. To add multiple accounts to the app:

1. Open the account menu. To do this, tap the profile picture in the top left corner of the screen.
1. Tap ![](_assets/android/add-account.png) next to the profile pictures you see. If you have more than one account and you don't see the icon, swipe the profile pictures to the right.
1. Enter the username and password for the account that you want to add, then tap **Log in**.

You can choose which account will be used for photo and video auto-uploads. All your phone's photos will automatically upload to it, even if you're using a different account in the app. For information on how to select an account for auto-uploads, see [Enable and configure auto-uploads](https://yandex.com/support/yandex-360/customers/disk/app/android/en/autoupload/setup.md#choose-fotoaccount).

## Switch to another account {#switch-account}

You don't need to enter your username and password to switch between accounts that you've added to the app. To switch between accounts:

1. <!-- source: en/_includes/auth/id-add-account/account-menu.md -->
   Open the account menu. To do this, tap the profile picture in the top left corner of the screen.
   <!-- endsource: en/_includes/auth/id-add-account/account-menu.md -->

1. Tap the profile picture of an account. If you have multiple accounts and don't see the one you need, swipe them right or left.
1. Close the account menu by swiping the panel down.

When you switch between accounts, the account for photo and video auto-uploads doesn't change. For information about selecting an account for auto-uploads, see [Enable and configure auto-uploads](https://yandex.com/support/yandex-360/customers/disk/app/android/en/autoupload/setup.md).

## Log out {#logout}

To remove an account from the app:
1. <!-- source: en/_includes/auth/id-add-account/account-menu.md -->
   Open the account menu. To do this, tap the profile picture in the top left corner of the screen.
   <!-- endsource: en/_includes/auth/id-add-account/account-menu.md -->

1. Switch to the account that you want to log out from. [How to do this](#switch-account)
1. Tap ![](_assets/android/exit.png).
1. Confirm exit.

## What happens if I'm not using Yandex Disk for a long time? {#inactive-user}

If you don't access or use Yandex Disk for more than two years, your account may be blocked and all the files may be deleted.

### Email to warn you about a block {#warning}

We'll notify you about the upcoming block in advance. Within seven days of receiving the email, you can cancel the block on your own. All you need to do is just log in to your Yandex Disk.

### Yandex Disk block {#Lock}

If you don't cancel the block within seven days after receiving the warning, your Yandex Disk will be blocked. After that, you have three months to lift the block. We'll regularly remind you about the upcoming data deletion so that you have time to unblock your Yandex Disk.

To lift the block and restore full access to your Yandex Disk:

1. Contact support via [the feedback form](https://yandex.com/support/yandex-360/customers/disk/web/en/blocked). Specify the blocked account username in the email.
1. Wait for a response email — we'll unblock Yandex Disk.

{% note alert %}

If you don't unblock your Yandex Disk, all files stored on it will be permanently deleted in three months.

If you've encountered a problem in the Yandex Disk app, please report it through the in-app feedback form:

1. Tap the profile picture in the top left corner.
1. Select **Help and support** → **Support**.
1. Specify the subject of your request.
1. Describe the problem in as much detail as possible.

{% note info %}

To report mobile app issues, please do this from within the app, not from the Help section. This will help us get your request to the right support agents, and you'll get a quicker response. When you report a problem through the app, we can also see technical information that helps resolve the issue.

{% endnote %}

If the app crashes and you can't send us a message from it, please use the [feedback form](https://yandex.com/support/yandex-360/customers/disk/app/android/en/default-form.md) to report the error.
