Yandex Calendar for desktop
With syncing, you can view and edit your events on Yandex Calendar from a computer via calendar applications. Changes made in other applications will be transferred to Yandex Calendar when you connect to the internet.
Calendars are synced through the CalDAV protocol.
Setting up calendar syncing
Select your OS:
Step 1. Create an app password

Open App passwords in your Yandex ID and click Create a new password.

Select the Calendar application type.

Create a password name. For example, enter the name of the application you're creating a password for. This will be the name of this password in the list.

Click Create. You'll see the app password in the pop-up window.
Warning
You can only see the password that you created once. If you entered it incorrectly and closed the window, delete the current password and create a new one.
Step 2. Configure the program for syncing
Warning
You can only add one account. You won't be able to add calendars from other accounts.

Download and install Mozilla Thunderbird.

In the Mail tab, select Calendar in the list of options.

Select On the Network and click Next.

In the Username field, enter
your_username@your_domain
. In the Address field, enter the address from the calendar settings:-
In the left-hand panel, find the calendar you want to use on your computer, hover over its name, and click
.

Go to the Export tab.

Copy the address from the CalDAV field.
Disable the Offline Support option. Click Find Calendars.

In the pop-up window Authentication Required, enter the app password created at the previous step.

Click ОК.

In the Create New Calendar window, click Subscribe.

To open the tab with the calendar, click
in the upper-right corner.
Step 1. Create an app password

Step 2. Set up syncing with your device

Open the system Calendar app and go to Calendar → Add Account.

Choose Other CalDAV Account and click Continue.

Enter your email address (in the
your_username@your_domain
format) and the app password created at the previous step. Click Sign in.Error “Unable to verify account name or password”
Specify the advanced parameters:
- Account Type —

your_username@your_domain
- Password — app password created at the previous step
- Server Address —
caldav.yandex.ru
- Server Path —
/principals/users/your_username@your_domain/
- Port:
443

- Use SSL — yes
- Use Kerberos for authentication — no
If you can't connect with the advanced parameters, make sure that automatic IPv6 configuration is enabled in the network settings:
- Open your network settings.
- Click Advanced.
- Go to the TCP/IP tab.
- In the Configure IPv6 field, select Automatically.
- Account Type —

Make sure that the account appeared in the calendar list.
