Theme

You can set the app's theme to light, dark, or use your system's theme.

The light theme can be used in the app even if your device is set to dark theme, and vice versa. The system theme means that the app will use your device's theme, whether it's light or dark.

To set the theme:

1. Open the app.
2. Tap the profile picture in the bottom right corner.
3. Tap Design theme and select the one you need.

Calendar display

Select the events display type in the calendar:

• Day to see both busy and free time during a day:

  

• Schedule to see only the list of planned events:

  

To change the display type:

1. Open the app.
2. In the top right corner, tap the display toggle icon (it's between the magnifying glass and the colored dots) and select Day or Schedule:

Notifications

To make Yandex Calendar remind you of upcoming events, enable notifications in its settings:

1. Open the app.
2. Tap the profile picture in the bottom right corner.
3. Enable In-app push or Email.

Time zone

Yandex Calendar automatically determines your current time zone and takes it into account when displaying events. This can be useful when you travel: events in your schedule always follow the local time, so there's no need to edit them.

If needed, you can set the time zone manually and change it as needed. To do this:

1. Open the app.
2. Tap the profile picture in the bottom right corner.
3. Tap Time zone.
4. Disable the option Use device time.
5. Select the primary time zone.

If you want Yandex Calendar to automatically determine the time zone but change it only with your permission, enable the options Use device time and Ask for a time zone change when changing locations.
