Recurring events
You can create recurring events, such as workouts, morning runs, or friends' birthdays. You just need to set the repeat in a single new or existing event. The upcoming events of the series will appear in the calendar under the appropriate days and times.
You can make events repeat daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or even on your own schedule, such as a reminder to do a deep clean every 3 months on Sundays.
How to repeat an event
-
Create a new event by following these instructions or open an existing event and tap
in the top right corner.
-
If the event will repeat on a custom schedule, such as every 3rd Sunday or every 25th day, make sure that the first event in the series is scheduled on the correct date or day of the week.
Can I schedule events from one series on different days? For example, hold the first event on Saturday and repeat the other events on Sundays.
It's easiest to plan your recurring events on the day they occur. However, the scheduled series allows for some flexibility. For example, you can set up a series of events to repeat on Sundays and then move the first event to Saturday. Editing an event

Tap Repeat and select the desired option:
-
Every day — on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. For example, you can schedule a time to walk the dog using this option.
-
Every business day — from Monday to Friday. For example, plan to have breakfast at a coffee shop before work.
-
Every week — on a specific day of the week. For example, schedule to meet with your friends on Friday.
-
Every 2 weeks — for example, plan going to the cinema.
-
Every month — for example, set a reminder to submit meter readings.
-
Another option — on a specific day of the month or day of the week. For example, you could set up a reminder for cleaning every 3 months on Sundays, dance practice every second Saturday of the month, and your friend's birthday on March 25 every year.
Specify the details of the recurring event:
-
Choose how often you want the event to repeat from the drop-down lists: daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. For example, repeat a meeting every third month.
-
Select the days or dates to repeat the event.
-
If you need to repeat the event during a certain period of time, such as until the end of the year, specify the end date in the Ending section. If the Never option is enabled, the event will repeat forever.

If you have many recurring events, such as workouts on different days and at different times of the day, you may want to create a separate calendar for those. To do this, follow these instructions.
