Events and reminders
Get reminders from Yandex Calendar for your to-dos, events, and meetings, so you never miss them.
Creating an event

Tap
in the bottom right corner, or simply tap any free time on the calendar.

Write the event name, such as "Sasha's birthday". This will help you easily distinguish between events.

Add an event description, such as "Birthday celebration with pizza". You don't have to add a description, but it's helpful if you're inviting someone else. For example, your friends will understand what's happening at the event.
How to invite participants
Enter the email addresses of those you want to invite in the Participants field. You can optionally specify where the event takes place in the Address field.
At the bottom of the event creation form, you can allow participants to edit the event and invite other people. If you often plan joint events, you can do so with family members or friends in a shared calendar. Shared calendar

Specify when the event starts and when you plan to finish it. If you're busy from morning to evening, you can select the All day option.

If you want to set up a recurring event, follow these instructions.

Set a reminder for the event. To do this, in the Remind me section, tap Add, and then select a time and delivery method for the reminder.
To make sure you don't miss the event, set up two different reminders.
For example, you can receive an email 15 minutes before the event and a push notification on your phone 5 minutes before it starts. If you didn't enable push notifications when you first opened the app, make sure you do so later in the settings. Enabling push notifications

Click Save.
We recommend creating a separate calendar for regular activities, such as workouts and study sessions. Here's how you can do it
Editing an event
Tip
If your plans change, you can easily move events around in your calendar. Simply hold down the event and drag it to another time or day. If an event takes more or less time than you expected, you can change its duration directly in the calendar grid. To do so, tap the two dots at the top and bottom of the event, then drag to make it longer or shorter. This method is faster and easier than editing the event in the form.

Select the calendar that contains the event. If you don't remember it, try searching for it. Finding an event

Open the event that you want to edit.

In the top right corner, tap

If this event happens more than once, choose what you want to change:
- Only this event, if it's happening at a different time only once.
- All events, if it's always going to be on a different day.

Make changes and tap Save.
Deleting an event

Select the calendar that contains the event. If you don't remember it, try searching for it. Finding an event

Open the event that you want to delete.

In the top right corner, tap
→ Delete.

If this event happens more than once, select the event that you want to delete:
- Only this event, if you're skipping a workout just once.
- All events, if you're stopping the activity altogether.

Confirm deletion.
Tap the profile picture in the bottom right corner of the screen, go to Notifications, and enable the In-app push option.
