Video meeting chat

In Yandex Telemost, you can send messages and share files in the chat. The meeting host is the chat admin.

Open the chat

In the bottom panel, click Chat. Even if you join the meeting and chat later than everyone else, you'll still be able to see all previous messages.

If you've logged in to Yandex Telemost with your Yandex ID, you will be able to read and write messages in the chat, and after the meeting, the chat will be available in Yandex Messenger.

If you are not logged in or your phone is not linked to your Yandex ID, you will only be able to read messages.

Note

If the meeting was created for employees only and then opened up to all users, the chat will only be available to employees.

How to log in

Click Log in to join and enter your username and password. If you use two-factor authentication, you need a one-time password generated by Yandex Key.

How to link your phone

Type a message in the chat and click Send. Yandex Telemost will ask you to enter your phone number and confirm it via SMS.

Save message history

If the participants used the chat while recording was in progress, you can save the message history. When the recording stops, Yandex Telemost prompts you to save all messages to a separate file.

Close the chat

In the upper-right corner of the chat, click or click Chat again.
