Yandex Telemost add-in for Microsoft Outlook

With the Yandex Telemost add-in, you can schedule meetings in Microsoft Outlook for browser or desktop.

Install add-in

If you use Outlook.com:

  1. Log in to Outlook using your Microsoft account credentials.

  2. In Calendar, select New event.

  3. Go to Additional parameters → Get Add-ins or More apps.

  4. In the left panel, select My add-ins .

  5. Click Add a custom add-in.

  6. Select Add from URL and paste the following link:

    https://outlook-integration.telemost.yandex.net/manifest.xml
    

A system administrator can install the add-in for all employees.

For Yandex Telemost to work properly, the system administrator needs to add specific settings to the corporate network exceptions and provide access to the manifest file.

Log in and get started

  1. In Microsoft Outlook, open the screen for scheduling a meeting.
  2. On the toolbar, in the upper-right corner, click Telemost.
  3. Select Settings → Log in.
  4. Confirm logging in with your Yandex account and allow access to your data.

Create a meeting

You can use the add-in to schedule:

  • External meetings for everyone you share the link with.
  • Internal meetings for employees (users with accounts on your organization's domain).
  1. Open Microsoft Outlook and log in to your Yandex account if you aren't logged in.
  2. Open the screen for scheduling a meeting.
  3. On the toolbar, in the upper-right corner, click Telemost.
  4. Select External meeting.

After that, on the screen for scheduling a meeting in Microsoft Outlook, you can see an invitation with a link for participants.

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook and log in to your Yandex account if you aren't logged in.
  2. Open the screen for scheduling a meeting.
  3. On the toolbar, in the upper-right corner, click Telemost.
  4. Select Internal meeting.

After that, on the screen for scheduling a meeting in Microsoft Outlook, you can see an invitation with a link for participants.

Edit or delete a meeting

You can use the add-in to modify the meeting access type: make an external meeting internal and vice versa.

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook and log in to your Yandex account if you aren't logged in.

  2. In the schedule on the right, select the meeting you want to modify or delete.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. In the upper-right corner of the toolbar, select Telemost → Settings.

  5. If you want to change the access type, select the one you need and click Update. Save your changes.

    If you no longer need the meeting, click Delete.

The add-in doesn't work

If something goes wrong when you install or use the add-in, you see an error message with a code.

To solve the issue, contact support and specify the error code in your request.
