In Yandex Telemost, meetings have no time limit and can accommodate up to 500 participants. The maximum number of participants in a meeting depends on your service plan.
You need a Yandex account to create video meetings.
Open the Yandex Telemost mobile app for Android or iOS.
You can also create video meetings in Yandex Telemost for Business via the API. For more information, see the Yandex Telemost API reference.
Schedule a video meeting
If you're planning to catch up with or colleagues on a certain day, schedule a meeting in advance. The event will appear in Yandex Calendar, and everyone you added will get a reminder.
Open Yandex Telemost.
Click Schedule.
Enter the meeting name and description. A link to the video meeting is automatically added to the description.
Select the access type: For all users or For employees only.
Note
Only users with accounts on your company's domain can join meetings for employees. The host and co-hosts can manage access during the meeting.
Choose the date and time.
If it's a recurring meeting, click Does not repeat in the Time and date section and specify the desired settings.
The link will appear in the description three hours before each meeting. The link will also be sent to all participants by email, SMS, or CalDAV.
Specify the meeting place.
Add participants to the meeting.
Set up notifications.
By default, a reminder is sent to all participants by email one hour before the meeting.
To change the reminder time and type, click on the notification you want to edit, select Other, and specify the desired settings.
In the Calendar section, select the calendar where you want to add the meeting.
In the Access section, specify whether the participants can edit the event and add other participants.
Click in the upper-right corner, and the meeting will be added to Yandex Calendar.
I can't create a video meeting
Make sure your smartphone has an active internet connection. For example, try opening https://yandex.com. If there is no connection, restart your router. If this didn't help, contact your service provider.
Close Yandex Telemost and then open it again.
Make sure that camera and microphone access is allowed in your device operating system settings.
