The person who creates a call automatically becomes its host and can mute participants' microphones, turn off their cameras and screen sharing, disable recording, admit participants from the waiting room, or remove them from the call.
Make a co-host
Only people who are logged in to Yandex Telemost with a Yandex ID can become co-hosts.
Click .
To the right of the participant's name, click .
Select Make co-host.

Waiting room
The host and co-hosts can use a waiting room to control who can join their calls. This way, people will only be able to join a call when manually admitted.
The call must be created by an employee with an account on the organization's domain
These accounts look like login@company-name.com. If you create a call from your personal account like login@yandex.com, waiting room settings will be unavailable. To learn how to connect a domain, see the Yandex 360 administrator guide.
Changing waiting room settings during a call will only affect new users and won't impact participants who have already joined. If you disable the waiting room, everyone waiting to be admitted will automatically join the call.
To change the settings:
During a call, select → Waiting room.
Configure waiting room access:
For everyone: Participants can join the call only after they're admitted.
For external participants: Only participants with accounts on the organization's domain can join immediately. Everyone else will have to wait to be admitted. This is the default access setting for all new calls.
Disabled: Participants can join the call immediately.
Press Save.
You can configure waiting room settings when scheduling a call in Yandex Calendar. How to do this
Admit participants from the waiting room
Select → Waiting.
Press Let in next to the participants you want to admit, or press Let everyone in.
Turn off camera, mute microphone, or lower hand
For one participant
For all participants at once
Click .
To the right of the participant's name, press and select:
Turn off camera.
Mute.
Hand down.
Press → .
Select:
Mute everyone.
Turn off everyone's camera.
All hands down.
Participants can still unmute themselves, turn on their camera, or raise their hands at any time.
Stop screen sharing
Click .
To the right of the participant who's sharing their screen, press → Stop sharing your screen.
After that, they can share their screen again at any time.
Disable call recording for participants
By default, any participant can record calls in Yandex Telemost. The host and co-hosts can turn off this feature:
During a call, press → Participant permissions.
Disable the Record call option.
After this, the Start recording menu item will disappear for all participants. For those who have already started recording, the recording will stop and won't be saved. Only the host and co-hosts will be able to record the call.
Remove participants from a call
The host and co-hosts can remove any participant from the call.
Click .
To the right of the participant's name, press → Remove from call.
If needed, enable the Ban for 24 hours option and press Yes. If this option is disabled, the participant can rejoin the call after one minute.
