How to calculate service costs

Here, you'll find information on how your activated services are billed. This section will help you analyze your expenses in detail.

Yandex 360 services have per-second billing, so you don't overpay when activating or deactivating plans and services.

The plan determines the cost of services provided during a full calendar month. The payment is the same for months of different lengths, such as February, April, and August.

Thus, the exact cost per second depends on the number of days in a particular month. For example, to calculate the cost per day in January, you divide the plan's price by 31 days, and in February, by 28 days.

Cost per second in January =519 ₽:31 d:86 400 s= 519 \text{ ₽} : 31 \text{ d} : 86\text{ }400\text{ s}

Cost per second in February =519 ₽:28 d:86 400 s= 519 \text{ ₽} : 28 \text{ d} : 86\text{ }400\text{ s}

So, the cost per second in February will be higher than in January.

Calculation

To calculate the exact cost of services per month, use the following formula:

COST == PRICE PER SECOND ×\times TIME ++ ADD-ONS

  • PRICE PER SECOND: The monthly cost of the plan, divided by the number of seconds in a month.

  • TIME: The total time in seconds that all employee accounts were on the plan.

  • ADD-ONS: The monthly cost of additional space on Yandex Disk. Calculated using this formula:

    ADD-ONS == Cost of additional space on Yandex Disk, per second ×\times Total time when the additional space was enabled, in seconds

Example

In June, you used the Standard plan. The organization has three employees:

  • Bogdan worked for the organization the entire month.
  • Innokenty worked for 15 days, then resigned, and his account was promptly deleted.
  • Anna joined, and her account was added to the plan for 15 days of the month.

Five days after Anna joined the organization, she asked for 1 TB of additional space on her Yandex Disk. This extra space was enabled on her Yandex Disk for 10 days of the month.
