Voice messages
Dictating messages is much faster than typing. But listening to voice messages may be inconvenient if the recipient is in a crowded or noisy place. Yandex Messenger can automatically recognize voice messages, so the recipient gets both audio and text.

Why can't I send a voice message?
- Make sure that your smartphone or computer is connected to the internet. For example, try opening yandex.com. If you're offline, restart the router. If you're still offline, contact your internet provider.
- Log out of Yandex Messenger, and then log in again.
- Check if access to the microphone is allowed in your device's OS settings.
- Try selecting a different audio recording device.
- If you use Yandex Messenger on a desktop computer running Windows, make sure that no other applications are using the microphone and camera. Otherwise, Yandex Messenger might be unable to access them.
If the problem persists, contact support.
