Personal and work contacts
Personal contacts
- Yandex Messenger no longer syncs with the device's address book. You can only communicate with the people you've already had private chats with. You can't add a new contact and start chatting.
Work contacts
- To contact a colleague in a workspace, use your organization's address book.
Delete downloaded contacts
Contacts will be saved in Yandex Messenger even if you delete them from the address book or deny Yandex Messenger access to them. To delete contacts from Yandex Messenger:

Tap 
→ Delete contacts from Yandex Messenger above the chat list.
In Yandex Messenger, tap Settings → Remove all synced contacts.
The contacts will be saved on your device and deleted from Yandex Messenger.
