Create a poll
To learn what most group chat or channel members think on a matter, take a poll. It can be public or anonymous, with one or multiple response options.
How to create a poll
- Hover over the icon in the message field and select Create poll.
- Add a poll topic and no more than 10 response options. Use to reorder the response options, and to delete them.
- Select a poll type: public or anonymous, with one or multiple response options.
If you mark a poll as important, all the chat or channel members will be notified of its publication.
How to participate in a poll
Posted polls may look differently depending on the settings. To change your response, press the poll and select Revote. If the poll is anonymous, its creator won't know which option you have chosen.
How to view the results
You can see who voted and how in Yandex Messenger or download the results as an Excel file. If the poll is anonymous, the results are anonymized and only available in Yandex Messenger.
