Send a message
To one user
To send a message to a certain person, press and then find and select them in the list.
A chat will open where you can send messages, make calls, and share files. The icon next to a message in Yandex Messenger means it has been delivered. The icon means the addressee has read the message.
To multiple users
To send a message to multiple people at a time, create a group chat or channel. There, you'll be able to send messages, make calls, and share files with all the members at once.
- Group chats are useful for communicating and discussing work-related issues: all their members can send messages.
- Channels are better suited for situations when you need to give information to other users rather then to discuss any matters. For example, it can be a good variant for sharing news about your organization or department. Only channel admins can send messages to a channel.

How do I understand who's sending me a message?
Press the profile picture of the user who sent you a message. A card will open with all the available information about this user, including their name, photo, position, and contact details.
