Signature

You can create a signature that will be automatically put in the message when it is composed, replied to, or forwarded.Create multiple signatures for every occasion, for example, business correspondence in English and Russian. You can pick a signature while you compose a message, or set up automatic signature selection.

Alert

If your company's administrator set a mandatory signature, your personal signature will not be displayed.

Create a signature

  1. In the top right corner, click All settings.

  2. Select Personal information.

  3. Enter your signature in the Your signatures section.

  4. You can also format your signature text using the tools above the text field.

  5. You can add an image to your signature if needed:

    • By link — click the icon below the text field and paste a direct link to your image.
    • Locally — drag the image from a folder on your computer into the signature text field.
  6. Click Add signature.

  2. Click the icon that appears.

Configuring signature selection

If you have several signatures, you can choose a specific one when composing a message, or set up signature auto-selection.

  1. Move the cursor to the current signature.
  2. Click that appears in the upper right corner of the signature block.
  3. Choose a signature.

By address

To use a signature when sending messages from a specific mailbox alias, select the Link to address option in the Your signatures section on the Personal information page and choose the email address.

By message language

Yandex Mail can change your signature depending on your message's language (for example, you'd have a signature in Turkish if you were writing an email in that language). To use this signature in replies to messages in another language, assign it to that language in Your signatures:

  1. Move your cursor over the upper right corner of your signature.

  2. Click the icon that appears.

  3. Select the language needed from the list.

  4. Click Save.

Configure signature placement in replies

By default, the signature is put at the end of the message or correspondence. To embed the signature right below the reply, go to Place signature (at the bottom of the page) and select that option. This setting is used for emails sent through Reply, Reply to all, or Forward.

The placement you choose applies to all the signatures you have created.

Delete signature

  1. Move your cursor over the upper right corner of your signature.
  2. Click the icon that appears.

You can create a signature that will be automatically inserted when you compose, reply to, or forward an email. You can create multiple signatures for all occasions: for friends, work, or use a foreign language. You can pick one of the created signatures when you compose an email.

Create
  1. Tap in the top left corner.
  2. Under the folder list, tap Settings.
  3. Select GeneralYour signatures.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Enter the text of your signature.
  6. Click Done.
Edit
  1. Tap in the top left corner.
  2. Under the folder list, tap Settings.
  3. Select GeneralYour signatures.
  4. Choose the signature that you want to edit.
  5. Make your changes.
  6. Click Done.
Delete
  1. Tap in the top left corner.
  2. Under the folder list, tap Settings.
  3. Select GeneralYour signatures.
  4. Choose the signature that you want to delete.
  5. Tap Delete signature.
  6. Confirm the action by tapping Delete.
