Change the theme

If you wish, you can change the app theme:

  1. Pull the screen to the right.
  2. Under the list of folders and labels, tap Settings.
  3. Choose a theme.

By default, the app uses your device's theme. If you change the appearance in the device settings, it's also updated in the app.

If you don't want the theme in the app to be linked to the system theme:

  1. Pull the screen to the right.
  2. Go to Settings → General.
  3. Disable Use device theme.
  4. If you want, you can enable or disable Dark theme.

For the left menu, you can also enable the theme you selected in the full version of Yandex Mail. Just follow these steps:

  1. Under the list of folders and labels, tap Settings.
  2. Select the account you want to enable the theme for.
  3. Enable Themes.

Set up the translator

You can enable the automatic translation of incoming messages into a selected language:

  1. Pull the screen to the right.
  2. Under the list of folders and labels, tap Settings.
  3. Enable Translation and select the default language that the translator will offer to translate a message into.

To use the translator, open an appropriate message and, after selecting the target language for translation, tap Translate above the message text.

Set up voice control

To dictate emails using your voice, turn on Voice control:

  1. Pull the screen to the right.
  2. Under the list of folders and labels, tap Settings.
  3. Enable Voice control and select the language to use for voice control.

Get summaries of important emails

Alert

Available only in Yandex 360 plans.

You can activate Alice Pro so that it shows you summaries of important emails:

  1. Pull the screen to the right.
  2. Under the list of folders and labels, tap Settings.
  3. Select the address that you want to enable email summaries for.
  4. Enable Important emails from the past 7 days.
