Yandex Telemost for meeting rooms: web connection
This feature is available at an extra cost in the Optimal plan.
If your meeting rooms are equipped with video conferencing equipment, employees can use it to connect to Yandex Telemost, using their smartphones as remote controls. A room will be considered a video meeting participant, not a specific user.
To do this, purchase the add-on for the Yandex 360 for Business plan with the required number of web connections (1 connection equals 1 meeting room) and finish the setup.
Equipment requirements
The meeting room should be equipped with an internet-connected computer or mini-computer, TV, and audiovisual equipment for conferences (camera, microphone, speaker).
A browser from the list should be installed on the computer:
- Yandex Browser
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Firefox
- Safari
Yandex Browser is not supported on tablets and TVs.
You'll also need a mouse and keyboard for the initial setup.

How to purchase connections

Go to the tab Telemost → Add-ons.

In the section Telemost for meeting rooms, select Connect via web version and click Add.

Enter the required number of meeting rooms, check the cost, and click Add.
After the payment, the number of available meeting rooms will be displayed in the section Connect via web version.
How to connect a meeting room with Yandex Telemost

On the computer in the meeting room where you're setting up Yandex Telemost, open Yandex Browser and enter the address http://room.telemost.yandex.ru
A code will appear. You'll need it in the following steps. The code is updated every 5 minutes.

On your work computer, log in to the organization's administrator account and go to the page Offices and meeting rooms.

On the Meeting Rooms tab, click the room you want to connect to Yandex Telemost. How to add a meeting room if it's not on the list
If you have available connections, there will be a Connect button in the window that opens. If there are no connections left, you'll see the button Add. Click it to add more connections. You can also disconnect one of the previously connected rooms from Yandex Telemost.

Click Enable.

Enter the code you saw in step 1 and click Connect again.

In the browser's address bar on the computer in the meeting room, a request to access the camera and microphone will appear. Grant permanent access for this site.
Done. Now this room can participate in video meetings. The TV screen will display a page with the nearest meetings scheduled in Yandex Telemost and a QR code that employees can use to join them.
We recommend opening this browser tab in full-screen mode to eliminate any unnecessary elements on the screen.

How to disconnect a meeting room from Yandex Telemost

Log in to the organization's admin account and go to the page Offices and meeting rooms.

On the Meeting rooms tab, click the room you want to disconnect from Yandex Telemost.

Click Disable and confirm the action.
You won't be able to join a Yandex Telemost meeting from the equipment of this room, and one free connection will become available.

How to change the number of connections

Go to the tab Telemost → Add-ons.

In the section Telemost for meeting rooms, select Connect via web version and click Change number.

Increase or decrease the number of meeting rooms and click Save.
The connection is paid for a minimum period of 1 month. You can increase the number of rooms whenever you like, but you can only decrease it after a month has passed since the last increase.
In addition, the number can only be decreased to the number of meeting rooms currently connected to Yandex Telemost.
Example. You've purchased 10 connections, and only 7 meeting rooms are connected to Yandex Telemost through the organization's account. If the minimum period has passed, you'll be able to decrease the number to 7. To continue decreasing, first disconnect the meeting rooms from Yandex Telemost.
