Group and department chats
You can set up a chat or channel for employees of a particular group or department without individually adding each person. These chats can be set up using groups that are created manually, via the API, or by syncing with the LDAP directory. How to set up syncing
How to create a chat
- In Yandex Messenger, click
→ New group chat. - Enter the name of the chat and click Add participants.
- Enter the name of the group or department and click it in the list.
- Select Create сhat. All employees from the selected group will be automatically added.
To invite a group or department to an existing chat, click
→ Add participants. Enter the name of the required department and click Add.
After deleting an employee from the group in the company account, they lose access to the group chat. When a new employee is added, access to the chat is granted automatically. How to delete or add an employee
