Enabling and disabling the archive

Before enabling the archive, make sure to consult with your organization's lawyer. They'll tell you whether it's necessary to obtain the employees' consent to access their data in your specific case.
By default, access to emails via the archive is disabled.
After the archive is enabled, all the emails from the employees' mailboxes will end up in the archive. Note that emails that were deleted by the owners of the mailboxes before the archive was enabled can't be restored.
How to enable the archive

Go to admin.yandex.ru.

Select Mail → Email archive.

Click Enable.

Confirm.
How to disable the archive

Go to admin.yandex.ru.

Select Mail → Email archive.

Click the three dots next to Email archive.

Confirm your action.
If you re-enable the archive within a month, it will keep the saved searches and their results.
After a month, the archive is deleted along with all the searches.
