Domain delegation

Delegating a domain to Yandex means transferring the control over the domain's DNS records to Yandex.

Delegation makes it easier to connect a domain to Yandex 360: if the domain has been delegated, you don't need to separately verify or configure it.

We recommend delegation when you want to set up your organization as easily and quickly as possible and don't plan to create a complex configuration around the domain.

How to delegate a domain to Yandex

You need to add two Yandex DNS servers for your domain:

  • Primary server dns1.yandex.net.
  • Secondary server dns2.yandex.net.

If the delegation settings have fields for entering IP addresses, leave them blank.

You can specify these DNS servers in your account on the registrar's site. To learn the details, check the knowledge base of your registrar:
