Page content is displayed incorrectly

Try refreshing the page, clearing the browser cache, or disabling utilities and browser extensions that may be causing the problem.

Solution 1. Disable utilities

The most frequent reason for problems with displaying sites is using a proxy server or an additional firewall (in addition to the standard Windows firewall). Temporarily disable them to find out if they are connected to the site page's incorrect display. We do not recommend using utilities that result in failure to display pages.

Solution 2. Disable browser extensions

Temporarily disable all browser extensions:

  1. In the SmartBox, enter the address browser://tune.
  2. Set all the options to Off.

For more information, see the section Extensions and apps.

Solution 3. Refresh page
  1. Open the page where the problem with markup is occurring.
  2. Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F5 (Windows) or  + Shift + R (Mac OS).
Solution 4. Clear the browser cache

To clear the cache, follow these steps:

  1. Click  AdvancedClear history.
  2. In the Obliterate the following items from: list, select the beginning of time.
  3. Select the cached files option.
  4. Turn off all the other options (if you only want to delete the browser cache).
  5. Click Clear browsing data.

Ad blocks aren't displayed

Fonts are displayed incorrectly in the browser

  1. Right-click the Yandex.Browser shortcut icon and select Properties.
  2. On the Shortcut tab, go to the Object field. After C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application\browser.exe, add a space and append the following: --disable-direct-write.
  3. If this didn't help, try enabling ClearType in font settings in Windows Control Panel.

Fuzzy font

Solution 1

Go to the browser://flags page and turn off the DirectWrite option (or select this option if it is already turned off). Check how fonts are displayed in the browser after this.

Solution 2

Disable ClearType antialiasing in Windows settings.

  1. In Windows, open Control PanelSystemAdvanced system settings.
  2. On the Advanced tab, go to the Performance section and click Settings.
  3. On the Visual effects tab, deselect the Smooth edges of screen fonts option.
Solution 3

If you have GDIPP installed (http://code.google.com/p/gdipp/), disable it temporarily and check how fonts are displayed.
