Tableau

Every time you open a new tab or place the cursor in the SmartBox, the Tableau appears — a panel with widgets for web pages that you visit most often.

By default, Tableau already has widgets for some Yandex services. Just click the widget for the desired site to go to it.

Add a website to Tableau

To add a site to Tableau:

  1. Open Tableau.
  2. Click the button

      Add.
  3. Enter the site that you want to add to the Tableau.

You can select a site from the suggested lists of Popular or Recently visited sites, or enter the address manually. The current page is listed first in the recently visited pages.

Restriction.  Up to 18 widgets can be added to the Tableau.

Edit widgets

Switch to edit mode to manage Tableau contents. To switch to editing for:

  • A single widget — Click and hold it on the Tableau, or hover over the widget and click the appropriate icon.
  • All widgets — Click the Settings link

Attention! Make sure you save changes when you exit edit mode. To do this, click the Done button

In edit mode, you can:

Move widgets on the Tableau
Pin

A pinned widget will always stay in the same place

a widget
Click the on the widget.
Unpin a widgetClick the  icon.
Delete a widgetClick the  icon.
Change a widget's positionDrag the widget to the new location.
Edit a widget
Change the page the widget leads toClick the icon and type the website URL under the Tableau.
Add the webpage name to the widgetClick the icon, then click the Add Label button beneath the Tableau and enter the page name.
Edit the page name on the widgetClick and edit the page name in the bar that appears.
Tip. You can also remove, pin, and unpin widgets using the context menu

Change the Tableau background

To change the background of the page where Tableau is displayed, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Tableau.
  2. Click the Change background button

  3. Select the desired background or upload your own image using the button

    In the right part of the background images slider

Restriction. You can load .png or .jpg files as background images.
