Shockwave crash

More often than not, problems with playing videos on sites is due to errors in the Adobe Flash Player plug-in used for videos. It is possible that the browser is using several Flash player plug-ins and one of them is conflicting. Check the plug-ins used:

  1. In the SmartBox, enter the address browser://plugins.
  2. Press Enter.
  3. In the right part of the Plug-ins window, click Details.
  4. Expand the page and find the section with the header Adobe Flash Player.
  5. If there are several Shockwave Flash plug-ins in this section:
    • Disable the first plug-in and restart the browser.
    • If the error with video persists, enable the first plug-in again and disable the next one.
    • Restart the browser and check for errors.
    • Repeat these steps until you find the plug-in that's causing the error.

Note. For example, in the Adobe Flash Player section, click the first Disable link and restart the browser. If the error persists, turn the first plug-in back on in the same section and disable the next one. Restart the browser and check whether Flash is played. Follow these steps until you find the conflicting plug-in.
