Addresses and organizations

To enable the search robot to recognize company information on your site, mark up the relevant pages according to the markup schemes inherited from Organization and Place.

Complete list of supported schemas for organizations

Schemas that are links (marked with the plus sign) are supported by Yandex. Directory

Organization

Place

The following fields are supported for these schemas (wherever these fields are defined by the standard):

  • name (Text) − full name of organization;

  • url (URL) − URL of website;

  • address (PostalAddress)

    • addressCountry (Text or Country) − country. For example, Russia. You may also indicate the two-letter country code based on the ISO 3166−1 alpha-2 standard. For countries in the schema.org/Country format, the following field is supported:

      • name (Text) − name of the country;

    • addressLocality (Text) − city, town or village, for example, Adderville;

    • addressRegion (Text) − region, for example, Orange County;

    • postOfficeBoxNumber (Text) − post office box number;

    • postalCode (Text) − postal code;

    • streetAddress (Text) − address, for example, 123 Easy Street;

  • faxNumber (Text) − fax number;

  • telephone (Text) − telephone number;

  • location (Place) − physical location of the organization. If the organization (or branch) is located within a shopping center, the name of the shopping center must be indicated in this field;

  • geo (only GeoCoordinates; GeoShape is not supported) − geographic coordinates

    • latitude (Number or Text) − geographical latitude, for example 29.58;

    • longitude (Number or Text) − geographical longitude, for example 31.08;

  • openingHours (Duration) − working hours of the organization. Duration − text in ISO 8601 format. May be defined as intervals during the week, first indicating days, then the times during those days. Different days should be separated by a comma. Intervals of days and hours should be indicated with a dash;

    • days are indicated by two-letter combinations: Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr, Sa, Su;

    • time is indicated in 24-hour format. For example, 15:00;

    • example markup:

      <time itemprop="openingHours" datetime="Tu,Th 16:00−20:00">Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 8
      in the evening</time>

    • If the organization works the entire week, this can be indicated as follows:

      <time itemprop="openingHours" datetime="Mo-Su">Monday through Sunday, around the clock</time>

Notes:

  • openingHours is supported only in schemas inherited from Organization/LocalBusiness and Place/CivicStructure;

  • data on the organization will appear in Yandex.Directory within two weeks of the date the markup is implemented on the site.
