  The [homepage](https://yandex.com/pogoda/) provides a detailed overview of current weather conditions.
  
  
  **Search bar** {#search}
  
   
  :   To check the weather in a city or area, use the search bar at the top of the page. Start typing the name and select the one you need from the suggested options.
  
  **Weather forecast for your location** {#location}
  
   
  :   To see a weather forecast for [your location](https://yandex.com/support/weather/en/faqservice.md), tap **Find me** or ![alt-текст](_assets/geolocation-icon.svg "geolocation" =100x100) to the right of the search bar. Make sure that access to location data is granted in your device settings.
  
  **Mini-map** {#mini-card}
  
   
  :   Below the search bar, you'll find a mini-map showing the location (city or region) for which the weather forecast is provided on the homepage.

      To see the forecast for a longer period, tap **Monthly forecast** under the detailed 10-day forecast.
