# Yandex Weather and processing of user data on Android devices

When you use the Yandex Weather app, the service collects and sends [data](#data) to its servers. All data is processed by Yandex according to the terms and conditions of the [Privacy Policy](https://yandex.com/legal/confidential/), [Cookie Policy](https://yandex.com/legal/cookies_policy_eng/), and [License Agreement](https://yandex.ru/legal/weather_mobile_agreement/?lang=en) for Yandex Weather for mobile devices.

Permission is required for usage in the app. When permission is granted, the Wi-Fi and Cell ID are also used to refine the coordinates.


The sending of coordinates can be [disabled in the device's system settings](https://yandex.com/support/common/browsers-settings/geolocation.html).
