# Video collections 

The [home page](https://yandex.ru/video/) and video search results show videos selected for you. They are generated automatically based on popular queries and personal recommendations.

You can always return to the home page by clicking **Video** under the search bar.

## New videos {#fresh}

Under **New videos**, you can find popular videos with the largest number of views on the internet and mentions in blogs over the past week.


## Collections of videos for popular queries {#popular-requests}

Under **Movies**, **TV series**, **Cartoons**, **TV shows**, and **Animated series**:

- The **Recommendations** tab shows a collection of videos for popular queries based on user preferences (if the relevant data is available).
- Other tabs, such as **Popular** and **New online**, offer a collection of videos based on the most frequent content queries made by service users.

The list of popular queries is generated by AI systems: Yandex algorithms analyze user search queries, identify relationships between objects and the success of user experience when making queries. To create blocks, we also use the [Information card](https://yandex.ru/company/technologies/entity_search/) Yandex technology and data from [Kinopoisk](https://www.kinopoisk.ru) and other trusted sources.


## Continue watching {#continue}

If you started watching a video from a video search collection and didn't watch it to the end, the **Continue watching** block with a card of this video appears at the bottom of the home page and in the video search results. To resume watching, click the card.

The card of a video that you didn't watch to the end can be displayed in the block for a few days. You can delete it by clicking ![](_assets/but-close-1.png).
