Monetization tools

There are two monetization tools available for partner subdomains: partner links and a hotel search widget.

You can place partner links on any platform. They shorten the user's path to purchase.

With the search widget, users can quickly find a hotel in any region and book it.

Both tools are created in the Yandex Distribution interface.

How to create a partner link

1. Choose the page of your Yandex Travel partner subdomain that the link will lead to and copy its URL.

2. In the Yandex Distribution interface, go to Travel Tools → Deeplink Generator.

3. Choose the platform where you'll post the link from the list. This will open a list of affiliate_clids corresponding to the selected platform.

4. If you want, choose the Yandex Travel partner identifier in the affiliate_clid field.

5. If necessary, add an additional link identifier in the VID field. This way, you can:

   • View statistics specifically for this link.

   • Compare statistics for the same links on different pages.

6. Paste your URL into the Link to Yandex Travel field.

   After that, a short partner link will appear (for example, https://travel.yandex.ru/-/CCUeyXg-SA). You can paste it wherever you want on your platform.

How to create a widget

1. In the Yandex Distribution interface, go to Travel Tools → Widget constructor.

2. Choose Widget type → Hotel search.

   On the left side of the constructor, there are examples of how the widget is displayed on different platforms, devices, and screen resolutions. The widget adapts automatically.

3. If you want, choose the Yandex Travel partner identifier in the affiliate_clid field.

4. If necessary, add another identifier in the VID field. This way, you can:

   • View statistics specifically for this widget.

   • Compare statistics for the same widgets on different pages.

5. Set up the pre-filled value for the To field to increase conversion and save customers' time:

   1. Start typing the name in the To field.

   2. Choose a city or region from the list. When filling in the field, customers will be able to change the city.

6. Click Generate code.

   The constructor will generate the two code snippets necessary for the widget to work.

How to use the widget

1. Click Copy code to copy the code of each snippet.

2. Place the code on your website:

   Widget script

   • If you have access to the website's source code, paste the code into the head element of the page where the widget will be placed as close as possible to the top.

   • If you use a content management system or a website builder, find the section for managing meta tags or page headers and paste the code into the relevant field.

   Widget code

   • If you have access to the website's source code, paste the code wherever you want to see the widget on the page.

   • If you use a content management system or a website builder, find a section where you can paste custom code.

3. Save the changes to display the widget on the page.
