Translating text in images
To translate text from photos and images:
- 
Tap  at the bottom of the screen. at the bottom of the screen.

Point your camera at the text. Yandex Translate immediately tries to translate it. You don't need to take a photo. To select an image on your device, tap the image icon on the right. To take a photo, tap the camera icon on the left. - If you want to change image orientation, tap  . .
- To translate an individual word, tap it. You will see a dictionary entry with examples from literature and movies.

Troubleshooting
I can't launch the camera
Check your input language. Below is a list of languages that are recognized in images:

The camera doesn't recognize text
The app doesn't identify blurred or skewed images as well as italics and hand-written text. Try to take a clear photo.
The image came out black or distorted
