Name and picture
If you've logged in to Yandex Telemost with your Yandex account, you can set your name and picture. That way everyone in the meeting will know who you are.
Attention. This name will also be used in comments and reviews on Yandex, and the picture will appear in all Yandex services.
You can change your name and picture:
- Before or after the meeting

- Log in to Yandex Telemost if you haven't already.
- Click.
- During the meeting

- Pull up the control panel

- Click Change name and picture.
Note. If you're not logged in, each time you join a meeting, Yandex Telemost prompts you to enter your name manually, and a picture is randomly selected from a standard set of images.
Microphone and camera access
When you create or join a meeting for the first time, the app requests access to your device's microphone and camera. You can allow access immediately in the request notification or later in your device settings.
- Open the device settings.
- Tap Apps and notifications → App permissions → Show all.
- In the list of apps, select the one where you are using Yandex Telemost (Yandex Mail or Yandex Disk).
- Tap Permissions.
- Turn on Camera and Microphone.

Note. Mobile device manufacturers might change the Android interface. See the instructions for unmodified Android below.
