My driver took a poor route
The fallback of the upfront fare may take place if addresses of pickup location or destination were changed or there were additional stops. In this case calculation of the fare is made taking into account base plus rates for time and distance. If you make a request for the ride during times of high demand, the fare already include surge which will remain unchanged if there will be the fallback of the upfront fare.
