Confirming your rights

In the Yandex Business Directory, only a company representative can edit information about a business or a chain, view statistics on the map, and track changes in the business profile.

Log in to Yandex Business Directory and confirm rights to your business or chain with a special code.
Note. An agency username can't be the owner of a business in the Yandex Business Directory, only its representative.

How do I find the business to confirm my rights?

You can find the business in Yandex Business Directory:

  1. Enter the business name on the search page, specify the region, and click Search.

  2. In search results, click the business name and then click This is my business.

You can find a business on Yandex.Maps and then go to the Yandex Business Directory:

  1. Find the business on Yandex.Maps, go to the business profile, and click Confirm ownership on Yandex.Maps.

  2. On the Confirm your management rights for this business listing page, click This is my business.

  3. Get the code and enter it to confirm your rights.

How do I find the chain to confirm my rights?

You can find the chain in the Yandex Business Directory:

  1. Enter the name of the chain on the search page and click Search.

  2. In search results, click the chain name and then click This is my chain.

    Attention. In the Region field, specify “Earth”. This links all the chain branches listed in the Yandex Business Directory to your account.

    If you refine the search and specify the country and region, only the branches in the selected region will be linked to the account.

  3. Get the code and enter it to confirm your rights.

How do I confirm my rights if the business is linked to my account?

  1. On the My businesses page, go to the Waiting for approval tab.

  2. Click Confirm next to the business name.

  3. Get the code and enter it to confirm your rights.

How do I get the code? Where do I enter it?

  1. On the Add business to account page, choose the phone number and specify the extension (if any) and contact person. Click Call me. Within 10 minutes, you will receive a call from an automated operator who will tell you the verification code.

    If you entered a mobile phone number, you can choose how to receive the code: by automated phone call or by SMS.

  2. Go to the My requests page and open the Confirmation requests tab. Click Enter code and enter the verification code.

If an automated operator fails to reach the number, the request is passed to the call center. The call center operator will call you back within three days and tell you the code.

Note. You can request the code again in the Yandex Business Directory interface the next day and wait for the call from an automated operator.

The business has changed its phone number and I can't receive the verification code

If the business profile contains the wrong telephone number, find the business on Yandex.Maps. Click Edit information and enter the right phone number. After some time, the information in the Yandex Business Directory will be updated and you will be able to receive a verification code.

Note. We verify phone numbers if they were changed in Yandex.Maps. Make sure the current phone number is also specified on the official website or social media page.
