# Installation and updates

You need an internet connection to use Shedevrum.

## Download

Shedevrum is a free app. You can download it from an official app store:

## Update

- Manually

  1. Open an official app store: [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yandex.shedevrus) for Android, [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shedevrum/id1671837122) for iOS, or [AppGallery](https://appgallery.huawei.com/app/C108057211) for Huawei.
  1. Use the search bar to find Shedevrum.
  1. Tap **Update** and follow the instructions. If Shedevrum is already updated to the latest version, you'll see an **Open** button instead.

- Auto-update

  1. Go to **[Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yandex.shedevrus)**.
  1. Tap ![](_image/avatar.svg) (profile picture) in the top-right corner of the screen.
  1. Select **Manage apps & device**&nbsp;→ **Manage**.
  1. Select **Shedevrum** in the list.
  1. In the top-right corner on the app details page, tap the ![three vertical dots icon](_image/menu-vertical.svg).
  1. Check the **Auto-update** box.

  1. Go to your device's settings.
  1. Find **App Store**.
  1. Under **Automatic downloads**, turn on **Apps** and **App updates**. Apps will be updated automatically. If you don't want to use mobile data, under **Cellular data**, turn off **Automatic downloads**. Apps will only be automatically updated when the device is charging and has an active Wi-Fi connection.

  1. Open **[AppGallery](https://appgallery.huawei.com/app/C108057211)**&nbsp;→ **My apps & games**.
  1. Find the **Shedevrum** app.
  1. In the top-right corner, tap ![](_image/menu-vertical.svg).
  1. Enable the **auto-update** option.

## Unfriend

- Android and Huawei

    1. Tap and hold the app icon on the device's screen.
    1. Tap **Uninstall** and confirm the action.

- iOS

    1. Tap and hold the app icon on the device's screen.
    1. Tap **Delete app** and confirm the action.

    Uninstalling apps on iOS may be blocked by the built-in restriction system. To remove the restriction, go to **Settings&nbsp;→ Screen time&nbsp;→ Content & privacy restrictions&nbsp;→ iTunes & App Store purchases&nbsp;→ Deleting apps** and set it to **Allow**.
