Possible errors

If the period, cost or regions for courier delivery are set incorrectly, the store will receive the following errors:

  • Delivery regions entered incorrectly

    Details
    • A product is not delivered to a region indicated on the Shipping options page in your profile.

    • Store employees offer to arrange delivery for a customer and make individual arrangements with a delivery company.

  • The delivery period or cost is entered incorrectly

    Details
    • The delivery period for an order is longer than what Yandex.Market indicates.

    • The cost to deliver an order is higher than what Yandex.Market indicates.

How do you determine where a delivery period or cost error occurred?

Quality control personnel compare the delivery period and cost posted on Yandex.Market with the period and cost given in the following sources:

  • The store's site or price list.

  • Written confirmation of an order from the store.

  • Information from a store employee.

Errors are assigned if the delivery period and/or cost is higher than what is published on Yandex.Market.

Possible causes of delivery period errors

  • The wrong delivery schedule was indicated. Keep in mind that the delivery period displayed on Yandex.Market varies during the week depending on your delivery schedule.

  • Local delivery conditions are set in two places: the price list and your profile (the delivery period from your profile displays on Yandex.Market unless the Use data from price list option is used.

  • A store uses the price list with the delivery-options element for deliveries and the period is indicated for the whole price list at once. In actuality, a store will take longer to deliver some products than others.

  • The delivery period depends on the product category, but delivery conditions are not entered for that particular product category (in this case the conditions of the Other categories group apply).

A delivery period of one day is indicated for the offer and the store's delivery schedule is set with no days off. In this case the store should make a Saturday delivery for an order placed on Friday and a Sunday delivery for one placed on Saturday. If the store reschedules a delivery from a weekend to a weekday, it will get assigned an error.

How to fix it:

Correct the delivery schedule to indicate that Saturday and Sunday are nonworking days.

Possible causes of errors in cost

  • Local delivery conditions are set in two places: the price list and your profile (the delivery cost from your profile displays on Yandex.Market unless the Use data from price list option is used.

  • A store uses the price list with the delivery-options element for deliveries and the cost is indicated for the whole price list at once. In actuality, a store will charge more to deliver some products than others.

  • The delivery cost depends on product weight but the weight is entered incorrectly in the price list or not entered at all.

  • The delivery cost depends on the product category, but delivery conditions are not entered for that particular product category (in this case the conditions of the Other categories group apply).

The delivery cost for your region is 300 rubles in the price list, but 200 rubles in your profile. The store thinks that it can deliver orders for 300 rubles, but the settings in the profile take precedence and Yandex.Market displays the 200-ruble delivery cost.

How to fix it:

Enter the correct data source for rates in your region. If data from the price list should be factored in, then you need to edit your rates on the Shipping options page and select the Use data from price list option.
