Common types of errors

This section lists the most common errors that are made during registration and publication on Market. We recommend reviewing them in order to avoid these errors with your own store.

The icon marks errors that cause a product offer to be removed if detected during a standard verification test.

Product not in stock

Violates articles 10.2 and 10.3 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

  • Нет статуса “на заказ”

    A product that has the “в наличии” status cannot be delivered within two business days from when the order was made. If you are prepared to accept the order and deliver the product within two months, the offer should be assigned the “на заказ” status.

    The product status is described in the YML file using the available element:

    • available="false" — Product must be ordered.

    • available="true" — Product in stock.

    Example:

    <offer id="12345" available="true">

  • Заказы не принимаются

    This error may be assigned in the following cases:

    • Orders for a product with the “на заказ” status are not accepted.

    • The delivery time-frame or price of a product with the “на заказ” status are not known.

  • Товара нет

    This error may be assigned in the following cases:

    • A product with the “в наличии” status is not in stock in the store or warehouse, or the product has been reserved.

    • When checking a product uploaded without the color specified, it is discovered that the color shown on the image is not available.

Incorrect product price

Violates article 10.1 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

  • Указана неверная цена

    When checking over the phone or in the shopping cart, we found that the product price does not match the price indicated in the price list.

  • Цена на Яндекс.Маркете отличается от цены на сайте магазина в одной и той же валюте

    The price on the store's website does not match the price indicated in the price list. This error may also be assigned if the price is not shown on the store's website.

  • Цена завышается при заказе

    During verification, we found the actual price of the product was higher than the price indicated in Yandex.Market.

  • Цена действительна при заказе партии товара

    The product price shown on Yandex.Market is only valid when ordering a group of products. When ordering a single item, the store sets a different price.

  • Цена действительна при приобретении товара в комплекте

    During verification, we found that the product could not be purchased for the price shown without purchasing additional related products or services.

  • Цена, не относящаяся к товару

    The product price shown is at least twice the average price for this product on Yandex.Market.

  • На сайте магазина не найдена цена, указанная на Яндекс.Маркете

    The verification test is run automatically. An error is assigned if the robot did not find the price shown on Yandex.Market on the website page.

Invalid delivery information

  • Товар не доставляется

    Violates articles 10.2 and 10.3 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    During verification, we were declined delivery of this product. This error may also be assigned if the delivery area is restricted (for example, delivered only to a metro station or office, or only inside the "Third transport ring").

  • Неверно указаны регионы доставки

    This error may be assigned in the following cases:

    • The product cannot be delivered to the region shown on the Регионы доставки page in the Partner interface.

    • Store employees suggest that the user can arrange delivery and deal with the carrier company on his own.

    Delivery must be arranged by store employees, including delivery by carrier companies.

  • Неверно указана стоимость доставки

    Violates article 10.4 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    There are two ways to specify the exact cost of delivery:

    1. In the Partner interface, you can set a single delivery cost for all products, or a separate delivery cost for each product category.

      You can also set a minimum product price for free delivery, or a minimum product price for not offering delivery (only pick-up).

    2. In the price list, you can use the <local_delivery_cost> tag to set a single delivery cost for all products or set the cost separately for each product.

      Example:

      <offer>

       <local_delivery_cost>300</local_delivery_cost>

      If the general delivery cost is indicated in the price list, it will apply to all products other than those that have a delivery cost set directly in the <offer> section.

       <offer>...</offer>
       ...
      </offers>

Discrepancy between information on the store's website and in the Partner interface

  • Список регионов доставки

    The delivery regions specified in the Partner interface do not match the cities with delivery shown on the store's website.

  • Информация о юридическом лице

    The legal information about the organization that you specified in the Partner interface differs from the information shown on the store's website.

  • Фактический адрес магазина

    The store's actual physical location is not the same as the address specified in the Partner interface.

  • Телефон магазина

    The store's phone number specified in the Partner interface does not match the phone number shown on the store's website.

Link to non-existing page

Violates article 16 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

  • Страница товарного предложения не открывается

    When following the link published as part of the product offer, the site page does not open. Possible errors:

    • Page was not found on the server.

    • Response timeout.

    • Site page loaded without the product offer.

    • Different product page opens.

  • Сайт магазина не работает

    When clicking an offer on Market, the store's website is not available.

Errors in offer contents

  • Указание слов, не относящихся к названию и описанию товарного предложения

    The product offer title or description has the following:

    • Words“discount”, “sale”, “cheap”, “gift” (other than gift categories), “free”, “offer”, “special price”, “only”, “new arrival”, “new”, “lookalike”, or “order”.

      Violates article 8.2 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    • Phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, ICQ numbers or other online chat systems, including putting this information in images.

      Violates article 7.2 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    • Words that are unrelated to the product name or description (other than describing color, size, configuration or contents).

      Violates article 8.1 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    • Extraneous texts or objects on images passed for a product.

      Violates article 9 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

  • В наименовании товарных предложений содержатся html-теги

    Violates article 7.4 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    Product offer titles must not contain HTML tags.

  • В составе товарного предложения использованы слова, набранные заглавными буквами

    Article 7.1 of the Requirements for advertising materials states that words typed in capital letters are not allowed in product offers. Exceptions are made for abbreviations consisting of the first letters of words (“USSR”, “GOST” and so on).

  • Название и описание предложения не соответствует реальному товару

    Violates point 10 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    The product offer title or description is for a different product or does not correspond to the actual product.

  • Информация о гарантии, доставке или стране производства вне специальных полей

    Violates the Requirements for advertising materials.

    It is considered an error to specify information about warranty, delivery, or country of manufacture in the offer title or description or in the <sales_notes> tag.

    For products that have an official manufacturer's warranty, use the <manufacturer_warranty> tag. If a warranty is provided, set the value to true.

    Example:

    To specify a product's country of manufacture, use the <country_of_origin> tag.

    Example:

    <offer>

    There are two ways to specify delivery information:

    1. In the Partner interface, you can set a single delivery cost for all products, or a separate delivery cost for each product category.

  • В составе товарного предложения используются перечисления и различные варианты написания названия предложения

    Violates article 8.2 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    This error may be assigned when:

    • The offer title contains repeated words.

      Example:

      Телефоны: Телефон Nokia 6300

    • The offer title contains different ways of writing the product name.

      Example:

      Стиральная машина Indesit IWSC 5105 (Индезит)

  • Публикация одинаковых предложений, в том числе и отличающихся написанием (тиражирование)

    Violates article 7.3 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    The price list has offers with identical names and information about warranty and country of origin, regardless of differences in price. If these offers are not identical, the differentiating factor (color, sizing) must be indicated in the offer title. Only unique product offers can be published on Market.

    An error may be assigned if the store manager stated that offers listed on Yandex.Market under different names are actually the same product.

    The price list may have identical product offers with different values for the <delivery> and <pickup> tags.

  • Отсутствует гарантия

    This error may be assigned in the following cases:

    • The warranty conditions or time-frame stated by the store do not correspond to the conditions or time-frame of the official manufacturer's warranty.

    • The store states that there is no warranty, but the manufacturer provides an official warranty for this product.

  • Отсутствует официальная гарантия

    During verification, we found that this product does not come with an official warranty, but the offer on Yandex.Market states that there is an official warranty.

Issues with the store's website

  • На сайте нет отдельной страницы для каждого товара

    Violates article 14 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    Each product offer must correspond to a separate page on the website.

  • На сайте отсутствует или некорректно указана информация о юридическом лице

    This error may be assigned in the following cases:

    • The legal information about the organization that you specified in the Partner interface differs from the information shown on the store's website.
    • There is no information about the organization's legal entity on the website.

    According to article 18 of the Requirements for advertising materials, the store's website must display the following information about itself as the seller:

    For businesses:

    • Name (<...> LLC).

    • Location (business address).

    • State registration number for a legal entity (OGRN).

    For individual entrepreneurs:

    • Full name.

    • The main state registration number for a physical person registered as an individual entrepreneur (OGRN).

  • На сайте нет информации о доставке

    Violates article 18 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    We were not able to find information about delivery conditions and cost on the store's website.

Ordering issues

  • Нет корзины на странице товарного предложения

    Violates the requirements for the client's website and links to site pages (Requirements for the data transfer method).

    The website page with the product description does not have a Купить/Заказать button or a shopping cart to make an order from the website.

  • Не работает корзина

    Violates the requirements for the client's website and links to site pages (Requirements for the data transfer method).

    The shopping cart does not work at some point when making an order on the site:

    • The Купить/Заказать button or the shopping cart is disabled on the website page with the product description.

    • The shopping cart doesn't open for making the order.

  • Нет ответа:

    • To an order from the website.

      Violates the requirements for the client's website and links to site pages (Requirements for the data transfer method).

      An order made on your store's website was not confirmed by a call from a manager or email within four business hours. The response to the user must contain information about the product's availability, its exact price, delivery cost, and the time when the product can be delivered or sent to the delivery service. Automatically generated confirmations that do not contain this information are not acceptable. If you cannot reach the client by phone, you should send email with information about the order and a request to call you if the order is not to his satisfaction.

    • To a phone order.

      The store manager promised to check some product information and call back. There was no call with the answer within one business hour (if a different time was not agreed upon).

  • Заказ не был принят

    Violates articles 10.2 and 10.3 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    During verification, we were not able to order a product in the store. The reasons for the problem are given in the error message.

    This error may be assigned when:

    • There was no store employee available.

    • The store employee could not provide information about the final order price (including delivery cost) within one hour.

  • По указанным телефонам не удается связаться с магазином

    Violates article 15 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    This error is assigned if we could not reach the store using the phone number specified on the website during the store's business hours:

    • Number was busy.

    • Number is out of order.

    • Number could not be reached.

    • Phone was not answered.

    The call was made 3 times in 1 hour and 30 minutes during the store's business hours. The store's website did not provide information about technical difficulties and phone orders being unavailable.

  • Нет ответа от службы доставки

    On the designated delivery day, the courier or store employee did not contact the quality team employee making the verification.

    Violates article 4.3.3 of the Offer agreement.

  • Вместо заявленного товара предлагается аналогичный по другой цене

    Violates article 10.1 footnote 3 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    An error may be assigned if, when ordering a product, a store employee suggests purchasing a product from different brands or a different pricing category.

Other problems

  • Не указана минимальная сумма заказа

    Information about the minimum order amount must be specified in the price list in the <sales_notes> tag.

    This tag must be placed after the <description> tag in the product offer's description.

    Example:

    <description> </description>
    <sales_notes>минимальная сумма заказа 500 руб.</sales_notes>

  • Не указана минимальная партия товара

    Information about the minimum amount of the product must be specified in the price list in the <sales_notes> tag.

    Example:

    <description> </description>
    <sales_notes>минимальная партия товара 4 шт.</sales_notes>

  • Не указана обязательность предоплаты

    If you require prepayment, this information must be specified in the price list in the <sales_notes> tag.

    Example:

    <description> </description>
    <sales_notes>предоплата</sales_notes>

  • Не обслуживаются физические лица

    Violates point 3 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    We were not able to order a product because the store only works with businesses.

  • Предложение товара б/у, некомплект, некондиция, уценка

    Violates article 4 of the Requirements for advertising materials.

    This error may be assigned in the following cases:

    • A product published on Market is a used, discounted, or damaged item, incomplete set, or floor model.

    • A product placed on Market has not been adapted for use in the Russian Federation. This type of product has the same status as an incomplete set.

    • A refurbished item is placed on Market (restored, renovated, modernized).

  • Товары, запрещенные к дистанционной торговле, размещаются без соблюдения требований

    Violates article 1.4 of the document General rules. Requirements for advertising materials.

    Legislation of the Russian Federation prohibits selling alcohol, medicine, and precious metals remotely (including over the internet).

    The following requirements apply for placing these products on Market:

    1. There must be retail points of sale for the products. The address of the point of sale must be shown on the website.

    2. A copy of the license for distributing this product must be provided to the Support service.

    3. When ordering via the shopping cart, the user must be given the option of select the “pickup” type of delivery, without additionally filling in the “address” field.

    4. In the price list, information about pick-up should be specified using the <delivery> tag with the value set to false.

      Example:
