How to successfully pass moderation

Before submitting your store for moderation, go through this check-list and make sure you're ready.

  1. Check the data in your store account
  2. Check your price list for Yandex.Market
  3. Prepare and check your site
  4. Get ready for orders

Check the data in your store account

  • If your store takes orders by phone, the correct phone number is shown.

  • Yourcity (local region) matches your physical location.

  • Your delivery terms (cost, regions, delivery periods) are configured correctly.

Check your price list for Yandex.Market

  • Your offer titles only contain product names and main product characteristics (color, size, configuration, options). They do not include the words “novelty”, “hit”, “free shipping”, and so on.

  • The titles and descriptions of your offers do not contain:

    • Words typed in all capital letters. Established brand names and product models are permitted.
    • HTML tags. Exception: section CDATA in the element description/Описание (“Description”)..
  • Products without an official manufacturer's warranty do not contain the element manufacter_warranty/Гарантия производителя.

  • If your store has a minimum order amount or requires prepayment, be sure you specified:

    • The minimum order amount: either for all products simultaneously in the settings, or for the certain products separately in the element sales_notes/Условия продажи (“Terms of sale”).

    • Mandatory prepayment: separately for relevant products in the element sales_notes/Условия продажи (“Terms of sale”).

  • For adult products: the element adult has been set (if using YML).

  • Be sure you specified information about warranties, delivery, country of origin, and discounts in the appropriate elements. Be sure none of the above are indicated in the product name.

  • For items with an unknown delivery period, be sure you specified the status “order-by-order” (for your local region, in your store account or price list, for other regions, in your store account).

  • In the price list you haven't included any identical offers, including offers that differ only by their title.

  • The final price is specified with all taxes included. Be sure that the price doesn't change after an order has been placed.

Prepare and check your site

  • The site works and doesn't contain any viruses. We recommend regularly checking your site for technical errors using Yandex.Webmaster.

  • The site allows customers to place orders.

  • The site specifies payment methods as well as the cost and terms of delivery, and it lists the delivery regions.

  • Each product offer from the price list is given its own separate page on the store's site.

  • Up-to-date prices and payment terms are given and won't change after an order has been placed.

  • No additional windows (“popups”) open on the product pages or on the site's home page.

  • The site contains accurate information about its legal entity (for example, in Russia this would include name, address, and OGRN) or sole proprietor (full name and OGRNIP). We recommend that you include this information on the page “About us” or “Contacts”.

  • The phone number given on the store's site works and accepts calls.

  • The ymclid tag is compatible with the site software. Ensure that pages on your site with this parameter are displayed correctly.

  • The seller information indicated in your store account matches the information given on your site.

Get ready for orders

  • You are ready to confirm an order within an hour, i.e. to reserve the product and inform the buyer that you will fulfill the order according the stated terms. This can be done by call, email, or SMS. For more information about order confirmation, see Store requirements.

  • The confirmation includes the cost of the order, as well as the cost and date of delivery (or of customer pickup).

Provide documents

Make sure you have provided all necessary documents (if they were required).
