How to correctly construct an offer for Yandex.Market in the “Видеокарты” category

In order for the system to associate your offer on Yandex.Market with the product profile, you must specify:

  • manufacturer of the videocard (such as ASUSTeK or GigaByte)

  • line (such as GeForce or Radeon)

  • video processor (such as 8800 GT or HD 3870)

  • connection type (such as PCI-E, PCI-E 2.0, or AGP)

  • amount of memory

For nonstandard (non-reference) video cards, you must specify parameters differentiating them from reference videocards:

  • frequency of the GPU

  • memory frequency

  • memory type

  • bus exchange with memory

  • number of DVI, YPrPb, TV-out, VIVO, and HDMI interfaces

  • support for HDCP

  • cooling system (for passive system, “Silent”; for higher efficiency than in the reference configuration, “Cool”)

All these parameters are required and they must be specified in the product offer title.

The more detailed your product description, the more likely it will get into the desired product profile. This is why we recommend setting not just the required parameters, but additional ones as well.

Order for listing videocard parameters: manufacturer, line, video processor name, video processor frequency, connection type, amount of memory, memory frequency, bus exchange with memory, number of DVI sockets (if any), TV-out or VIVO interface (if available), HDCP support (if available), YPrPb jack (if available), other differences from the reference configuration, manufacturer's code (if provided by the manufacturer).

Product offer title for videocards with reference parameters

Let's look at the configuration for the videocard ASUSTeK EN8800GTX/HTDP/768M.

The videocard parameters are:

  • Manufacturer: ASUSTeK.

  • Line: GeForce.

  • Video processor name: 8800 GTX.

  • Frequency of the GPU: 575 Mhz.

  • Connection type: PCI-E.

  • Amount of memory: 768 Mb.

  • Memory frequency: 1800 Mhz.

  • Bus exchange with memory: 384 bit.

  • Number of DVI slots: 2.

  • TV-out interface: yes.

  • HDCP support: yes.

  • YPrPb jack: yes.

  • Manufacturer's code: EN8800GTX/HTDP/768M.

The offer title might look like this:

ASUSTeK GeForce 8800 GTX PCI-E 768 Mb

With the additional parameters listed, the offer will look like this:

ASUSTeK GeForce 8800 GTX 575 Mhz PCI-E 768 Mb 1800 Mhz 384 bit 2xDVI TV HDCP YPrPb EN8800GTX/HTDP/768M

Product offer title for a videocard with non-reference parameters

Lets look at the videocard ASUSTeK EN8800GTX AquaTank/HTDP/768M, that has parameters that do not match the reference parameters:

  • Manufacturer: ASUSTeK.

  • Line: GeForce.

  • Video processor name: 8800 GTX.

  • Frequency of the GPU: 630 Mhz.

  • Connection type: PCI-E.

  • Amount of memory: 768 Mb.

  • Memory frequency: 2060 Mhz.

  • Bus exchange with memory: 384 bit.

  • Number of DVI slots: 2.

  • TV-out interface: yes.

  • HDCP support: yes.

  • YPrPb jack: yes.

  • Manufacturer's code: EN8800GTX AquaTank/HTDP/768M.

Since the videocard parameters are non-reference, the offer title must look like this:

ASUSTeK GeForce 8800 GTX 630 Mhz PCI-E 768 Mb 2060 Mhz 384 bit 2xDVI TV HDCP YPrPb EN8800GTX AquaTank/HTDP/768M

An incorrect offer title would look like this:

ASUSTeK GeForce 8800 GTX PCI-E 768 Mb

Common errors

  1. Parameters omitted or incomplete.

    Example:

ASUSTeK GeForce 7600 GS 256 Mb

The offer for ASUSTeK GeForce 7600 GS 256 Mb specifies just part of the mandatory parameters for videocards. Without complete information, this model fits two product profiles: GeForce 7600 GS 400 Mhz AGP 256 Mb 800 Mhz 128 bit DVI TV YPrPb or GeForce 7600 GS 400 Mhz PCI-E 256 Mb 800 Mhz 128 bit DVI TV YPrPb. The system doesn't have enough data to associate the offer with a product profile.

  2. Only the manufacturer's code is specified.

The same code may be used for videocards with different parameters. Cards with an identical code can have different connect types, amount of memory, bus exchange, frequency of GPU or memory, slots and other characteristics. This is why we do not recommend specifying just the manufacturer's code in the offer.

    Example:

    Leadtek WinFast PX7600 GS TDH

The offer specifies the correct manufacturer's code, but the specification shows that this code is assigned to videocards with different cooling systems. The offer can't be associated with a profile based on just the code, because in this case three different offers are possible:

    • videocard with reference specifications:

      Leadtek GeForce 7600 GS PCI-E 256 Mb

      or

Leadtek GeForce 7600 GS PCI-E 256 Mb Silent
    • videocard with active cooling:

      Leadtek GeForce 7600 GS 400 Mhz PCI-E 256 Mb 800 Mhz 128 bit 2xDVI TV YPrPb
    • videocard with passive cooling:

      Leadtek GeForce 7600 GS 400 Mhz PCI-E 256 Mb 800 Mhz 128 bit 2xDVI TV YPrPb Silent
