What bids affect

Managing bids makes publication on Yandex.Market maximally effective. It allows you to place your store's offers in better positions than offers from competitors.

The position that your offer will be placed in depends on your bid. Offers with a higher bid are shown first. In certain placement locations, the offer position also depends on its popularity, or clickability (CTR).

The success of your offers depends on your bid management.

Where you can manage your offers' display positions:

  1. Yandex Search

    Product profiles section. Offers are arrange in order of descending bids. If several offers from the same store meet the requirements for displays, the offer with the highest bid is selected.

    If the bid is the same for several offers, these offers are shown in rotation (the offers are switched during indexing).

  2. Yandex Advertising Network

    When selecting offers, the amount of the bid multiplied by the CTR is taken into account. The larger this number, the better the ad position on the YAN site.

    If multiple offers from a single store meet display requirements (for keywords and for the product of the bid and CTR), the offer with the maximum product of bid and CTR is selected.

    If the product of the bid and CTR is the same for several offers, these offers are shown in rotation (the offers are switched during indexing).

    You can decline offer displays on partner search platforms in the Yandex Advertising Network via the Partner interface. For more information, see the section Placement parameters.

  3. Product Profile:

    • In the Интернет-магазины and Магазины рядом sections, offers are arranged in order of descending bids. If several offers from the same store meet the requirements for displays, the offer with the highest bid is selected.

      If the bid is the same for several offers, these offers are shown in rotation (the offers are switched during indexing).

    • On the Цены в интернете tab, all offers are arranged in order of descending bids. There are no restrictions on the number of offers from a single store.

Attention! 

The position that your offer will be placed in also depends on your store's region. Local product orders with any bid have priority over remote offers.
