Placement models for an online store
Yandex.Market is an online retail platform where customers can purchase products directly or click on product links to be taken to your site. You can use both placement models simultaneously, or choose just one of them:
“Quick Order” is a type of cost per action (CPA) model for online advertising. Users order your store's products directly through Yandex.Market.
“Click-to-Shop” is a type of “cost per click” (CPC) model for online advertising. Users are redirected from Yandex.Market to your site, where they can decide whether to place an order.
Quick Order and Click-to-Shop (CPA and CPC)
If you would like to maximize the opportunities for your customers to interact with your store, you should advertise using both models at once:
You will receive orders from Yandex.Market as well as traffic to your site's store.
Your ads will cover all advertising places, including Yandex Search and the promo section on Yandex.Market.
All of your product offers will receive preferential placement in the ranking and will occupy higher positions.
Ad listings for your products will include both an Add to Cart button as well as a link to your store's site:
If the buyer places an order on Yandex.Market, you will pay a commission fee that is calculated as a percentage of the price of the items (only after you confirm the order and mark it as shipped). If the buyer clicks to go to your site or clicks to view your phone number, you will pay the cost per click amount.
Only Quick Order (CPA)
The CPA model is suitable for stores that prefer to receive prepared orders for fulfillment. The store is able to take orders and ship them, and interaction on the site is not a priority. For example:
The store does not have its own site, or the site does not meet the Yandex.Market requirements (customers cannot add products to a shopping cart or make an order).
The site has a low conversion rate.
Your product offers will only be listed with the Add to Cart button.
Features of ad placement using this model:
Product offers are given preferential placement in the ranking, and the costs for top positions will be lower.
The buyer can click on the store's phone number.
You cannot publish products with the “made to order” status or products that cannot be sold remotely.
If the buyer places an order on Yandex.Market, you will pay a commission fee that is calculated as a percentage of the price of the items (only after you confirm the order and mark it as shipped). If the buyer clicks on the phone number, you will pay a fee according to the cost per click.
Only Click-to-Shop (CPC)
You can choose to use only the “Click-to-Shop” model if you want your customers to go to your site to place an order. This would be the case when your store's offerings consist of products whose characteristics and final price are determined individually with the buyer, such as, for example, custom furniture.
Consider the following when choosing this model:
Published offers will only include links to your store's site and the phone number of the store. Buyers will not be able to immediately place an order.
Product offers will not be given any preferential placement in the ranking. You will need to spend more in order to promote your offers to a higher position in the ranking.
