Standard design

Standard banners are comprised of text and image ads.

If you want to add a standard banner to your website, you can use one of the available block types: fixed-size, flexible, or custom-size. Choose the best block format for your page size and the ad's location. Some ad block types can be customized to better fit on your website, letting you choose the best font, background, and other parameters.

  1. Fixed ad block
  2. Flexible block
  3. Custom-size block

Fixed ad block

The size of a fixed block is defined in the format itself. Such blocks don't adjust to the size of their container. To preserve the site layout, double check that the block fits in the container before you create the block.

Yandex.Direct ads evenly fill the space inside the block.

Ad positioning depends on the block orientation: vertical, horizontal, or square.

In horizontal blocks, ads are placed left-to-right. These blocks are good for placing ads above or below the page content and between paragraphs.

Use the preview area to evaluate how the selected RTB block would be displayed inside different containers.

Attention-getting, wide format with non-standard animation. Such blocks are good for placement above or below the main content of the site.

The ad block shows one Yandex.Direct contextual ad.

The block adjusts to its container size. Optimal width is at least 600 pixels. You can use the Size and position menu to set your block's height between 180 and 300 pixels.

Works well for placing ads above or below the page content and between paragraphs.

The maximum number of ads in this block is one Yandex.Direct ad or one banner.

You can enable animation in the block: the image will move smoothly up and down inside the display area. To add animation, enable the option in the Design details menu on the right.

Note. For the mobile version of the site, you can set up display in Interscroller using the Display mode menu when editing an ad block. The parallax effect in a block is achieved by the CSS position: fixed property. Therefore, for the effect to apply correctly to any parent element of the banner, do not use the properties transform, perspective, or filter. Learn more about position: fixed in CSS.
