You can serve image ads on the site you've added to the Yandex Advertising Network.
Displaying images in Yandex Direct ads
When photos, relevant images, and logos are used in ads, users are more likely to notice ads that interest them and understand what is being offered more quickly. Images in ad units make the ads more clickable, which means they could also influence your site revenue.

Image width and height depends on the type of ad unit. Image formats: JPG/JPEG, PNG, GIF (only the first frame is selected for animated images). Average file size: 20 KB.
The same ad unit can contain both ads with images and text ads.
To disable or enable image ads on a specific site:
- Go to Websites Ads → Sites.
- Click Edit under the site name. Change the position of the Display images switch on the Settings tab of the form that opens.
All changes to settings automatically take effect two hours after saving them.
