Family filter

Many partners do not want to see “adult ads” on their apps' pages. A family filter that restricts the display of “adult ads” can be enabled for the app in the Advertising Network interface. If enabled, “adult ads” will not be displayed even if they were selected to match the app content. Ads are filtered not only based on text but also based on the key phrases indicated by advertisers.

To determine whether a family filter should be enabled, please take into account the age of your audience and the app theme. Ad blocks offering products or services “for adults” may be inappropriate for apps that have an audience with a wide age range, especially if this includes children. If an app is “adult” themed, you don't need to enable the family filter as such ad blocks would interest users.

To enable or disable a family filter, go to the list of apps (Products → Apps) and click Edit for the relevant app. Change the position of the Family filter switch on the Settings tab of the form that opens.

All changes to settings will automatically take effect 30 minutes after saving them.

If after enabling the family filter you still see “adult ads” in your app, please send a screenshot to our support service of the page and a link to where the ad takes you.

By sending a request to our support service, you can also disable ads of the following categories: “milk substitutes”, “medicine”, “real estate”, “registration by place of residence”, “working abroad”, “mass media”, “magic and esoterics”.
